We will publish a volume of Lecture Notes
in Physics (published by Springer Verlag) based on the symposium
contributions. The book is planned to have a tutorial character
and to serve as an introduction to the field. All symposium participants
have been invited to contribute a tutorial review of their field
of expertise, containing some new results, about 10 to 20 book pages.
Chapters will be due at the symposium. Scientific and editorial
review will take place during the summer of 2005.
If you are interested, but have not yet received detailed information,
please contact Heiner Linke,
linke@uoregon.edu
Manuscripts will be accepted in Word or LaTex format. All chapters
will later be converted into LaTex format by Springer Verlag (the
conversion cost will be covered by symposium funds).
Springer's LaTex package is available from ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/tex/latex/physgl/mult.zip
For technical questions regarding Tex/La Tex, please contact Jacqueline
Lenz at Jacqueline.lenz@springer-sbm.com
If you would like to get an idea about the LPN format, a template
chapter is available here. A pure
text page (no figures) in teh LNP format corresponds to about 450-500
words (2800 characters, not counting spaces).
