We encourage all participants to make travel arrangements soon - excellent ticket prices are currently available.

By car: Follow E22 from Copenhagen (and Kastrup airport) to Malmö and then past Kristianstad towards Kalmar. About 10-15 km east of Kristianstad there is a signpost "Bäckaskog" to the left. Follow to "Bäckaskog Slott" (which is a little distance from the village of Bäckaskog).

By train and taxi: There are frequent trains from Copenhagen Central station and from Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup) to Malmö Central Station. The trains run about every 20 minutes between 5:20 am and midnight, and take about 30 minutes. Tickets can be bought until immediately before train departure inside Copenhagen Airport, using cash or credit cards. From Malmö, there are trains to Kristianstad. There are also several direct trains from Copenhagen Airport to Kristianstad. For detailed timetables and reservations, see website. A taxi from Kristianstad to Bäckaskog will then cost about 260 SEK (about 30 USD).

When you know your arrival time at the train station in Kristianstad, you may call Bäckaskog Castle (+ 46 (0)44 53020). They will arrange a taxi that will be waiting for you in Kristianstad to take you directly to the conference site.

Charter bus. A chartered bus (free of charge) will run to Bäckaskog from Hotel Savoy (see below), and from Malmö Central Station, on Monday, June 13th at 9.30 am, and will arrive at Bäckaskog well in time for lunch.

Charter busses will also be available on Friday June 17th, after the session ends (12:15 noon) and after lunch. (2 pm) for direct transport to Malmö and to Copenhagen Airport (less than three hours).

Special offer. For international participants we offer teh opportunity to spend the night of June 12/13 and/or June 17/18 in Malmö at Hotel Savoy, free of charge. This very nice hotel is located just a few steps from Malmö Central Station, with frequent direct train connections from and to Copenhagen Airport and to Kristianstad/Bäckaskog.
