| SOS Scholarship Eligibility Requirements |

| High School Applicants |
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident*
- Financial need, as determined by applicant's FAFSA application
- Minimum 3.5 overall GPA*
- If student has taken AP, IB, or College Now calculus, physics, or chemistry, minimum 3.4 GPA in those courses
- *Alternate criteria for high schoolers not meeting GPA criteria: Math SAT score of at least 650 and a combined Math/Reading score of at least 1250

| Transfer Student Applicants |
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident*
- Financial need, as determined by applicant's FAFSA application
- Minimum 3.5 college GPA*
- Minimum 3.5 GPA in college chemistry and/or physics classes
- *Alternate criteria for students not meeting GPA criteria: Math SAT score of at least 650 and a combined Math/Reading score of at least 1250

| Basic responsibilities for SOS Scholarship recipients: |
- Enroll full time at the University of Oregon (minimum 12 credits per term)
- Enroll as a declared major in UO Chemistry, Biochemistry, and/or Physics
- Maintain normal progress towards completion of chemistry and/or physics bachelor's degree
- Maintain a minimum UO GPA of 3.25
- Participate in required meetings and scholarship activities
